El Encanto
Very lively and incredibly sweet coffee from Acevedo family based in Filandia. Distinctive orange like fruit aroma and caramel sweetness. Big red fruit front and sweet orange acidity. Light on the body but big in juicy mouthfeel.
Castillo is a rather new varietal designed to combat roja (leaf rust) and other problems such as pests. With the right conditions and care this common varietal can produce excellent results in the cup.
Few years ago we had out first ever Gesha lot from Colombia through our friends at LaREB project. This fantastic Washed Gesha was from Gustavo Acevedo, father of Daisy Acevedo, who is largely responsible for El Encanto operations.
All our coffees are roasted for both filter and espresso.
